THE BELLY & ITS POWER

THE LIBERATION OF THE NATURAL ENERGY CENTER IN MAN

The Belly and Its Power is a simple, concise and illustrated guide to liberating the natural energy center in man.

Topics include: complete diaphragmatic breathing, the concept of breath energy, the psoas muscle and body alignment, abdominal self-massage, stretches for opening the hips and chest, spinal rolling and manipulation.

This book also includes 7 other articles about an important and natural healing process that can restore us to health, balance and vitality.

THE HEALING WAY

UNDERSTANDING PERSONAL EVOLUTION & THE HEALING PROCESS

It has been called Way of Tao, Internal Alchemy, The Warm Current Flow, The Circulation of the Light or just Yoga. This is a special healing process with a large and active conscious component to it. Through internal body awareness and a series of special liberating excercises, this healing process (or way) is initiated and sustained.

Out of ancient knowledge, modern biological science and most of all personal experience, the author has fashioned these writings. They are signposts on the way. These eight simple and direct articles show why men and women need to know about this healing process and some of the more important steps to take on the way.

BABY BOOMERS’ YOGA BOOK

The baby boomers, who fancied themselves the avatars of eternal youth, discovered not only sex, drugs, and rock and roll, but also the ancient tradition of yoga. Now those same baby boomers are themselves getting ancient (or at least reaching an age they themselves would have considered ancient). Their aching joints and muscles make the pastimes of youth recede more and more into past times.

Curiously, however, these very infirmities may open up the possibility of baby boomers’ rediscovering the true roots of yoga. For many of the more vigorous and contortionist forms of the practice are relatively modern add-ons to the original, gentler way of doing it.

This book presents a mature, easy and sensible style of yoga that may be far more suitable for muscles and joints that are 50 years old or more.

FREEDOM, CAN YOU FEEL IT?

For centuries philosophers have debated whether we are truly free or else constrained and determined by nature and circumstance. There is a middle way to view these issues and to realize the only freedom that makes any sense and that can become a reality in our lives.

This book looks at the middle way and how through practicing meditation and yoga we can discover a freedom that we can both feel and make a reality in our lives.

THE HIP SERIES

KINESTHETIC STRETCHES FOR THE HIPS & PELVIS

THE HIP SERIES are twenty stretching and movement exercises inspired by an awareness of the kinesthetic sense and designed to gradually and gently open and release the pelvic segment of the body.

The Hip Series demonstrates how movement can be gentle and playful and how a truly therapeutic system of movement can be spontaneously guided by one’s own sense of stiffness and tension.

LAZY MAN YOGA

Here is a routine and style of yoga that can fit into our busy and time constrained lives. Five postures can be done in five or ten minutes on a roller. Every posture utilizes a firm back roller that gives support, focus, and leverage to the technique. Each position requires a minimum of effort or exertion. Gravity, the weight of our body, is the force behind these positions.

This is a wise and mature approach to a yoga practice without the imposition of too much effort, exertion, strain or will power. We learn to relax and to let go in both the performance of the postures and later when we can stay very still and consciously relax.

Yoga Tools

A variety of therapeutic yoga tools. Spinal Rollers, in three sizes; cranial adjustor and cervical wedge; reflex massage balls; zubo; thoracic press and adjustor; cervical rocker.

The tools are simple to use and, according to my own experience and the testimony of hundreds of satisfied customers, very effective for healing and relaxation.

The idea behind using tools is that they can give greater focus, leverage, and support in our practices of yoga, bodywork, and self-massage.

SPINAL ROLLER

The Spinal Roller is a simple yet effective tool designed to allow one to adjust, massage or stretch the spine and back. The Spinal Roller relieves stiffness and tension in the back and pelvis.

With the Spinal Roller you can hear and feel the spine adjusting, vertebrae being put back in alignment.

The Spinal Roller can be used as an aide in correcting distortions in the back and pelvis. Roll on it or stretch over it. The Spinal Roller is versatile and fun to use.

SQUAT & ROCK BENCH

The Squat & Rock Bench allows us to sit in the squatting position and also to rock at the same time. With this tool we can benefit from the squatting position and yet most of the pressure and strain is off of our legs and back.

The back is exercised in a gentle and therapeutic way, the pelvis is stretched and limbered, and the floor of the pelvis is stimulated and massaged.

The Squat  Rock Bench is easy to use and gentle on the body. A rubber pad is included for cushioning and greater comfort.
